With Lake now in the ring, the Grand Canyon State could see a three-way race for the seat, though its current holder, Independent Kyrsten Sinema, has not declared whether or not she will seek reelection.
"In just one week, we will take our next steps in this incredible journey that we've been on together," Lake said in an Instagram post promoting an upcoming rally. "I can't wait to launch our movement into the future with all of you!"
The announcement rally is set to take place on October 10 at the Jetset Magazine in Phoenix.
On Monday, National Republican Senatorial Committee Chairman Sen. Steve Daines offered advice to Lake in an interview with CNN.
“I think one thing we've learned from 2022 is voters do not want to hear about grievances from the past,” he said. “They want to hear about what you're going to do for the future, and if our candidates stay on that message of looking down the highway versus the rearview mirror, I think they'll be a lot more successful, particularly in their appeal to independent voters, which usually decide elections."
"It's been no secret people have asked me about running for US Senate," Lake said in an interview with Newsmax in August. "We have a Senate seat that we could take and put an America First senator there."
She went on to slam the current leadership, and said the people of Arizona "desperately need some people who are going to put the citizens of their state first when they go to the federal government."
"We have two hardcore liberals who vote with Joe Biden 93-100 percent of the time ... and that is not Arizona. Arizona is not all about what Joe Biden's about, as a matter of fact Arizona is seriously depressed about what Joe Biden is doing to our country."
As NBC News reports, she went on to state that she was "the only one who can win that race," citing recent polling data.
Lake, a vocal supporter of former president Donald Trump, has yet to formally concede her loss to Hobbs.
